Wow. After my very strongly worded letter to the Clippers front office, our boys are really starting to turn things around. Not that I really think my letter had anything to do with it, but I just like seeing more wins getting locked in. When i was on the way back from Idaho and Utah, the Clips beat an excellent Portland Trailblazer team with Brandon Roy and old man face Greg Oden at the Rose Garden Arena in a double overtime thriller. Then, still on the way home, they whooped on Yao Ming and Tracy McRady’s bitch asses back at Staples Center.
They headed out on a four game road trip, which started at the new Oklahoma City Thunder team that has the worst record in the league. They only won two games going into that night, but they have last year’s number 2 overall draft pick Kevin Durant. Needless to say, Elliott Moran hates these guys because they stole his Super Sonics team from his hometown of Seattle. I’d be pissed too. Got the win there, but lost at the Chicago Bulls game with this year’s number 1 overall draft pick Derrick Rose. We had the game in the bag and Eric Gordon made a stupid rookie mistake fouling Ben Gordon for a four point play. FOUR POINT PLAY?! WTF? That was a tough loss and the refs sucked anyway. Bounced back last night against the Indiana Pacers that was very under manned because of some illness going around out there. Most of the starters were out except TJ Ford, who didn’t start anyway because he was hurt. It was dope to see all the Eric Gordon fans and I think Zach Randolph is from there too. The Clips played like total crap and almost lost to a bunch of 3rd stringer scrubs. Al Thorton hit a 3 pointer for the tie in regulation then we had to drag it onto a double overtime to finally get a win.
This is too stressful to watch most of the time. Even with all these wins, we’re still way under .500. Good thing I have NBA Live ‘09, which is way less brutal than the real game of basketball. I can’t get injured playing on my Play Station 2. Yeah, I don’t have a Play Station 3. I think my team in undefeated on NBA Live so I gotta turn the settings up to be more difficult.
