Just Me Against The World

Another Thursday morning in November and you can just feel yourself getting fatter because of the massive meal you’re in store for. There’s lots to be thankful for even when times are looking gloomy

For me, I’m thankful that my family and friends are healthy and supportive. Yeah, that sounds so generic, but it’s true. Without them I’d probably be roaming the streets and dancing topless for money to buy nachos. Just kidding. I’m also thankful that I’ve had as many opportunities that I’ve had career-wise even though the last one just left me boned with no lube. Lastly, I’m thankful that I don’t have money to go Christmas shopping so I don’t have to fight through the crowds when the stores open for Black Friday sales. I saw these knuckle heads lining up in front of Best Buy at 7am the day before. That means they have to camp out there for 24 hours! I’m always down for a good deal, but that’s just stupid. Why sit out in the cold when you have turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and all that good stuff waiting for you INSIDE?
