I Called It. Rain In California!

I’ve been talking about how dry it’s been in California for quite some time now. Not only are we in a drought, but the dry weather isn’t helping our fire situation either. Well, last week the so-called weather specialists said that we were finally going to get some rain early this week. We know how that goes.

In my huge attempt to not stay home today, I headed up to DC Sports/DME to hang out with Will “Homer” Law, Jimmy “Pukey” Le, and Andy “Nice Guy” Tran. The whole time Jimmy and I were looking outside at the clouds wondering when it was going to rain. It’s only Tuesday, but it was supposed to rain last night and it didn’t. By 4pm, it still looked semi-clear outside. There were patches of clouds, but nothing that looked like rain. Stupid weather people. So then I called it. I said 8pm it’s going to rain. After I got home and started watching TV it was 8pm and the hard rain started coming down. It was pouring and has been ever since. Pssh. Who’s the weather king now, bitches? Too bad I can’t predict my basketball team wins this well or else the Clippers wouldn’t have this crap ass 2-12 record. We’ll see what happens with the Zach Randolph trade. He brings us another big guy who we probably don’t need since we have a lack of wing men. Plus I’ll miss Cuttino “CAT” Mobley, who got sent over to the New York Knicks in the trade. He wasn’t always the leading scorer or anything, but that guy always played hard. When he was hurt with a swollen elbow on his shooting elbow, he still never bitched. The last couple years when we’ve been playing like ass, he would do whatever it took to help the team. Actually, this whole CAT Mobley thing deserves its own entry so I’ll start working on that now.
